When I’m off rotation I return home to Osoyoos, which is located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada. My time-off allows me to first, and most importantly, see my husband and second, spend time doing activities I love: cycling, mountain biking, hiking, drinking wine, etc. For example, my husband and I spent a week cycling around the Okanagan Valley with some friends before my recent return to Tasiast. Best combination of bicycles, heat, and wine!
