We are proud to announce Kinross La Coipa’s Mobile Equipment Workshop has received its first Caterpillar Star, marking a significant milestone for Kinross Gold with La Coipa being the first of our global operations to receive this international certification and one of only five companies in the industry to receive this award at a national level.

The Caterpillar Star Award is given to mobile equipment workshops that apply the highest standards in pollutant control, evaluating key aspects such as fluid management, component maintenance, best practices, staff training and use of appropriate equipment, with the aim of ensuring maximum reliability and safety in equipment.
