Kinross Kettle River-Curlew is proud to announce a US$1 million commitment to support a new multi-use facility in Republic, Washington, consisting of a library, community gathering space and a licensed childcare centre!
The new facility meets a need in Ferry County by providing access to education, technology and childcare in a community where these resources are limited – particularly with childcare where families must travel far distances for licensed facilities. Kinross’ donation represents the largest private investment in the project and helps position the centre for additional state and federal funding.
“Kinross is proud to support a project that will create lasting benefits for local families, strengthen community connections and contribute to the long-term sustainability of the region,” said Gina Myers, Vice-President and General Manager, Kinross Kettle-River Operations.
