Claude Schimper, Regional Vice-President, Russia, visited Northeastern State University in Magadan to speak to students about his international work experience, most specifically within the north-east Russian region.
Claude highlighted Kinross’ Generation Gold program, which is aimed at providing junior-level employees with hands-on experience in various areas of the mining industry. He also advocated for student involvement in Kinross-sponsored competitions such as the Annual Open Geology contest in Moscow and the CASE-IN International Engineering Championship in Magadan to gain experience.
