The annual Kinross-sponsored student geology competition was held last month in Moscow. This year’s competition brought together a record number of participants as over 500 students from grades 1-11 from 18 regions in Russia battled for the top prize. The competition was organized by the Faculty of Geology of Moscow State University, the Moscow Department of Education and supported by the Russian Geology Association.
