On December 3rd, Ghana marked ‘Farmers Day’ – a day to recognize and celebrate the efforts made by farmers in Ghana to become the ‘food basket for West Africa’ and the progress made by the country’s agricultural sector.
To celebrate the day, Kinross Chirano donated a utility truck each to the 2021 best farmers of the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai and Sefwi Wiawso Municipalities of the Western North Region. Kinross Chirano also donated farming tools and materials to other farmers of the two Municipalities.
