Kinross Toronto hosts virtual coffee chat for employees celebrating one year at the Company

In June, Kinross’ Toronto office hosted a virtual coffee chat for 14 employees who were celebrating one year of employment at the Company in an effort to connect employees who have had minimal in-person contact with colleagues since starting at the Company during the pandemic, and to give them a taste of the Kinross culture.

The chat was hosted by Maria Rodmell, Director Talent and Engagement; and led by Dominic Channer, Vice-President, Community Relations, Melissa Rossit, Director, Corporate Finance, Sura Alshear, Director, IT Security, and Kathleen Grandy, Vice-President, Global Human Resources., The leaders spoke about their background and experience at Kinross, which also included breakout room discussions for employees and leaders to learn more about eachother.

Captured above, the employees and leaders with the ‘Kinross’ coffee mugs they were couriered in their anniversary gift basket! The program will be run on a quarterly basis going forward to continue connecting Kinross’ new employees!
