La Coipa welcomes new employees with safety meeting

La Coipa recently welcomed new employees with a safety meeting held by Ricardo Lizama, Health and Safety Superintendent, Chile.

Ricardo spoke on the importance Kinross places on our people, and getting employees home safely each night. “For a project to be successfully completed, it must report no injuries or fatalities. Our goal is to put our people’s safety before how quickly or efficiently a project is completed,” he said.
