Kinross Tasiast hosts graduation for Mauritanian students

Tasiast recently hosted a graduation for 90 students in the Nouadhibou and Inchiri region who have been trained in the Vocational and Technical Training School (EETP-BTP) funded by Kinross.

Brahim M’Bareck, Vice-President, External Relations, Tasiast, and Mr. Hamahoullah, Director of EETP-BTP, presented students with the certificates at a ceremony this month. Captured above, the students with their awards and members of the Kinross delegation at the graduation ceremony.

The EETP-BTP program was developed by our community relations team and offers students hands on training in various areas including mechanics, welding, electricity, and computer literacy. The program hopes to train 240 students in the region by 2020.
