Round Mountain recently made a significant donation of $12,000 to help fund staffing at the mobile Tonopah Classroom on Wheels (COW) Pre-Kindergarten Program.
The mobile classroom – a school bus – provides a facility for students to learn during the school year and also enjoy summer programs. The goal is to further children’s early education in preparation for elementary school years.
“Round Mountain has a long history of supporting education initiatives in our communities. We are pleased to present this donation to a community of great importance to employees and our operations,” said Dave Hendriks, Vice-President and General Manager, Round Mountain.
