Our biodiversity strategy at Paracatu aims to protect endangered species and strengthen the biodiversity resilience of the Cerrado biome, a large savanna region.
Since the registry of the Paracatu state park by the State of Minas Gerais in 2011, Kinross has acquired and donated 6,400 ha of land to the State Forest Institute.
