Kinross Chirano was recognized at the 2019 Sustainability and Social Investment (SSI) Awards, receiving three awards as the top company in skill development projects, stakeholder engagement and supporting local content.
The Ghana SSI Awards were created to raise awareness and encourage companies to develop corporate responsibility projects and strategies with a focus on sustainable development goals.
This year, Adriano Sobreira, Vice-President and General Manager, received a special recognition award as the Sustainable and Social Investment Foreign Personality of the year, which recognizes individuals with a commitment to the development of local communities.
