Paracatu recently hosted ‘Festado Trabalhador,’ an annual event in honour of Brazil’s Labour Day that brings together employees and their families to celebrate the milestones of the previous year and to set goals for the coming year.
The celebration consisted of a full day of events and activities, with something for everyone to enjoy: children participated in interactive activities including face painting, drawing and balloon animals, while youth and adults enjoyed a dinner and nighttime concert that featured famous Brazilian bands!
Gilberto Azevedo, Vice-President and General Manager, Antonio Marinho, President Brazil and Vice-President, Legal, and Rodrigo Gomides, Director, Operations, attended the event and spoke to employees and their families thanking them for their consistent effort.
“We would like to thank employees for their hard work and dedication this year that has resulted in numerous milestones for Kinross Brazil,” said Gilberto Azevedo, Vice-President and General Manager, Paracatu. “We are happy to have your families here to celebrate this national holiday and look toward another successful, safe year of operating!”
