For the fifth year running, Kinross was a key sponsor of the annual Canada Eurasia Russia Business Association (CERBA) Vladislav Tretyak charity auction held in Moscow in March. More than 200 guests representing the Canadian and Russian business communities attended the event and raised a record US $265,000 for the Vladislav Tretyak Foundation. Founded by Russian hockey legend Vladislav Tretyak, the funds go towards assisting children, and social and family welfare institutions in the Ulyanovsk region.
