Senior leaders from the operations, technical services and continuous improvement teams at Paracatu recently came together for a development workshop on team building and goal setting for 2019!
Each department presented their goals for the year, how they planned to accomplish them, and how they can be implemented across Paracatu. The teams also discussed communal goals for operations, safety and employee culture at site.
“Having our leadership in one room created an excellent forum to find opportunities to maximize our productivity,” said Rodrigo Gomides, Operations Director, Paracatu. “The tangible goals and outcomes from this workshop will enable us to continue fostering and maintaining a successful team that strives to achieve excellence in our results.”
The workshop ended with a team building exercise that tested the technical skills, leadership, communication and responsibility of employees. The exercises strengthened relationships between colleagues with an emphasis on working together to increase productivity.
