Project C.U.R.E. CEO visits Kinross

Over the last three years, Kinross has delivered US$2.5 million worth of medical supplies to Mauritania and Ghana through a partnership with the non-profit organization, Project C.U.R.E.

Douglas Jackson, Founder, President and CEO of Project C.U.R.E., visited the Toronto office in March to talk to employees about how Kinross’ contributions to send much-needed medical supplies have positively impacted the two countries.

“Thank you, Kinross. Without your contributions, there would be areas of Mauritania and Ghana that wouldn’t have access to essential medical supplies or know how to resuscitate babies in the first critical minutes after being born. You are helping to sustain the health and well-being of these communities for many generations to come,” said Douglas.

In 2015 we expanded our partnership with Project C.U.R.E. and will deliver an additional US$7 million worth of equipment to Ghana and Mauritania over the next three years, including providing training for neonatal care.
