On November 2nd, Kinross welcomed eight grade nine students to our Toronto office for ‘Take Our Kids to Work Day’ – a career exploration event where grade 9 students across Canada spend the day in the life of a working professional.
The students spent the first half of their day learning about the mining industry, the mining process and Kinross’ operations, then took part in an office tour and scavenger hunt. The second half of the day was spent job shadowing their parent to learn more about the day-to-day tasks of a working professional.
