In May 2024, we announced the launch of Kinross’ new Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) and Operational Learning Teams (OLT) training program, designed to optimized individual and collective performance within our organization by empowering employees on the ground with skills to identify and mitigate risks, enhance decision-making and foster a culture of accountability.
Last week, we heard from the Tasiast team about the roll-out of the program and how it will benefit the site going forward. This week, we will hear from our Paracatu and Chile teams about the learnings from the program and how they will contribute to the safety, teamwork and collaboration of our South American sites.
