Ximena Matas, Legal Director, Copiapo has been named one of the top 100 legal managers in Chile by Legal 500 Latin America.
Not only was Ximena one of only eight women on the list, she is the only nominee among her peers working in the mining industry.

The nomination highlighted Ximena’s strong commitment to overcoming the challenges she and her team face on a daily basis. Ximena has been working at Kinross since 2009 and is responsible for the Company’s legal department in Chile.
