Kinross Chirano recently donated 7,000 mathematical sets to all students taking Ghana’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the catchment area. The donation is part of an educational development plan in Chirano that involves the construction of nine schools, five ICT centres, teacher housing and science laboratories.
Thomas Nyarko-Danquah, Human Resource and Community Relations Manager, Chirano, presented the students with the donation and spoke on Kinross’ commitment to developing the region and providing mentorship and quality education to benefit the community long-term.
