In August, Kinross Fort Knox hosted ‘Youth Safety Day’ in Fairbanks, Alaska – the largest youth safety event in the state that aims to raise youth awareness of health and safety practices.
Over 850 interior Alaska residents attended the event that had safety tips from police & fire personnel, a bike rodeo and bike safety check, and loads of kids’ activities! Kinross partnered with Volunteers in Policing and helped distribute hundreds of free bike helmets to attendees.
