Kinross Fort Knox stays virtually connected!

Fort Knox has not let physical distancing stop them from keeping up to date. The mine usually hosts bi-annual site updates with all 650 employees. This year, the first of two updates was held virtually and attended by 99 employees who recorded, and uploaded the meeting to the site’s internal employee communication platform to give all users access. Hundreds of additional employees have now watched the update at their convenience.

“Staying engaged and connected during this time is more important than ever. We want to make sure our employees feel connected in order to maintain focus, and enthusiasm to finish the year strong,” said Jeremy Brans, Vice-President and General Manager, Fort Knox.
