Check out the first load at the La Coipa crusher, which the team achieved on February 1st. This significant milestone is the first step toward the reopening of the La Coipa operation – commissioning of the plant has started and the site expects to hit full operational capacity at mid-year.
“I am proud of the team at La Coipa for meeting this goal that we set more than two years ago when we started the authorization of the Phase 7 project,” said Guillermo Olivares, General Manager, La Coipa. “Our target date for loading ore was the first days of February 2022 and I am proud to say we achieved this goal thanks to the hard work of our team at La Coipa.”
