Kinross Tasiast recently celebrated the graduation of 60 students from its apprenticeship program. The program was relaunched in 2022 and received over 2,000 applications from Mauritanians with the top students selected to come train at Tasiast.
This year, the program welcomed 30 mechanicals technicians, 15 electrical technicians and 15 welders , who received a variety of skills through theoretical and practical training that they can now use to further their career opportunities.
