Last
week, Kinross Tasiast held a ceremony to mark the donation of 38 ambulances
that will be provided to the Mauritanian government to assist in combating the
spread of COVID-19. The ceremony was attended by numerous government officials
including the Minister of Health and Minister of Mines, senior representatives
from Kinross Tasiast and local media.
The Minister of Health thanked Tasiast for this significant donation and the
resulting improvement it represents to the health system in Mauritania. After
the ceremony, an ambulance was put on display for attendees to have a
first-hand look at the fully-equipped vehicle.
