Kinross Tasiast welcomed their next cohort of students to the School of Technical Education and Vocational Training. This is the second phase of a program launched in 2018 that specializes in promoting training and development for youth in the Inchiri and Nouadhibou regions surrounding the mine.
In 2019, the program trained 100 youth including ten women who became part of the income-generating cooperative sponsored by Kinross. This year, another 100 students will be trained as part of the program.
