On January 25th, Kinross marked ‘#BellLetsTalk’ day, a campaign dedicated to breaking the silence and stigma around mental illness and supporting mental health across Canada.
Kinross’ Corporate HR team partnered with the Canadian Mental Health Association to host a ‘Lunch & Learn’ in Toronto, and online with our Great Bear team, to teach employees about ways to talk openly and start conversations about mental health, how to support each other and ways to create an open workplace culture. Employees were then introduced to the ‘Not Myself Today’ online portal that provides resources, tools and activities related to mental health to build awareness, reduce stigma and foster safe, supportive workplace cultures.
