Ingenuity, teamwork cut transmission repair costs

Employees: Yuri Laletin (Mechanic), Sergey Beyu (Welder), and Vasiliy Petrov (Welder)
Problem: To repair IVECO transmissions, you need a special stand for disassembly. The stand costs approximately US$6,000, not including the cost of shipping to the site.
Suggestion: Yuri designed his own stand and Sergey and Vasiliy worked together and used their welding expertise to build Yuri’s design. Once verified and inspected, the stand is now used to repair IVECO transmissions, as well as KAMAZ ones.
Result: It cost approximately US $500 in materials to build the stand, thus saving the site approximately US$6,500 (the price of the stand plus delivery costs).
