Join the University of Guelph’s ‘Kinross Chair in Environmental Governance’, Stephanie Cairns, for a virtual panel titled ‘Gathering Hope: Evidence and Inspiration for Environmental Action’ on Wednesday, January 25th from 3:30-5:00 PM ET.
The Kinross Chair in Environmental Governance was established in 2010 and seeks to promote environmental and governance practices that support sustainability while helping translate research into meaningful partnerships, programs and initiatives that encourage sound environmental policy and practice at all levels. The Chair is unique in that it is a knowledge exchange chair, bringing high profile experts to the University’s campus.
The panel will discuss the growth of eco-anxiety among students on campus by exploring the roots of environmental anxiety and offering evidence of campaigns, intersectoral collaborations, and green enterprise which inspire hope in a greener future.
