Kinross Chile recently launched ‘FM Kinross,’ an internal radio station available to employees at La Coipa and Copiapó, in an effort to combine entertainment with information and promote employee engagement during the workday.
The station currently hosts three programs: ‘Communidad Coipa,’ which interviews employees and provides news on the Company, ‘Grupo WhatsApp,’ featuring songs requested by employees and ‘Kinross Informa,’ which shares urgent news updates related to operations, road closures, and weather advisories.
“FM Kinross is an excellent opportunity to connect with our workforce,” said Rolando Cubillos, Vice-President Operations, Chile. “The feedback regarding the station has been outstanding, and we are pleased to see employees enjoying this new initiative.”
The station is played on site at La Coipa in both the truckshop and cafeteria, and can be accessed in vehicles at ‘88.1 FM’ or in offices at La Coipa and Copiapó by visiting Kinross Chile’s website.
