Kinross Videos Recognized at Mining Film Fest in Chile

On December 12th, the Mining Film Fest in Chile recognized two Kinross-produced videos at an awards ceremony. The video titled Vetas Humanas, or Human Veins, won first place in the Sustainability category, and was awarded by the Chilean Minister of Mining Hernán de Solminihac. The winning video depicts how our Maricunga mine has improved the lives of employees and external stakeholders over the years. Our video about the reconstruction of a school in Cobquecura was also recognized in the Social Responsibility category. The Mining Film Fest acknowledges the audiovisual work of the local mining industry in Chile. Watch the videos here and here (available in Spanish only).
