The Round Mountain team celebrated a major milestone last week by pouring the first gold bar produced from the Phase W expansion project!
“This moment has been 10 years in the making. I would like to thank all of our incredible employees, contractors and partners that have made this project such a success,” said Neil Jensen, Vice-President and General Manager, Round Mountain. “We are excited to continue delivering Phase W and beyond!”
The Phase W expansion project expects to add approximately 1.5 million gold ounces to the life of mine and extend mining by five year at one of our most consistent operations, located in one of the best mining jurisdictions in the world!
