In April, Kinross welcomed Aaron Witt, CEO of ‘BuildWitt’ to Round Mountain to tell the story of our site, the mining process and to inspire the next generation of miners.

During Witt’s tour of Round Mountain, the team takes us through the entire mining process from start to finish! The day kicks off in the pit where we see the process for drilling, blasting and loading the trucks to proceed up the haulage route where they begin milling and processing, and concludes with the exciting final stage where the gold is poured and converted into bars.
