On September 18th , the Company announced that it will be proceeding with Phase Two of the two-phased Tasiast expansion.

Phase One is progressing well and is on schedule and budget to begin full commercial production in Q2 2018. This video provides an aerial view on the current progress of the project.
Phase Two is expected to transform Tasiast into a large world-class mine with low costs and a long mine life. The expansion is forecast to process 30,000t/d to increase yearly production to 812,000 oz. for the first five years of Phase Two mine life.
