It’s that time of year again! Nominations for the 2024 Living Our Values Awards (LOVA) are now open and will close on Friday, March 22nd.
Over the next eight weeks, employees will have the opportunity to nominate their colleagues for being a champion of one of Kinross’ four core values either at work or in their community. Employees can be nominated for one of the following four categories:
- Putting People First
- Outstanding Corporate Citizenship
- High Performance Culture
- Rigorous Financial Discipline

To help your nominee stand out amongst our thousands of nominations each year, we encourage employees to provide specific examples of how their colleague is making a difference by living our values each day. For example, do you know someone who is a strong champion for health and safety? Do they work and act responsibly with the highest ethical standards? Do they demonstrate a passion for doing a great job and going above and beyond their roles? Or have they found a new way to save the Company money or make work processes more efficient and cost-effective? If so, we want to hear more!
Employees are encouraged to nominate a colleague using the online nomination form, however if you are unable to do so, hard copies are available at your local HR office.
As a reminder, the deadline for 2024 LOVA nominations is Friday, March 22nd.
