Two major safety milestones were recently achieved in the Company: Paracatu reached four million hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI) and the Buckhorn mine marked five years without a LTI. Congratulations to both sites!
“We don’t just talk about our commitment to safety, we live it. We care for each other at work and always put safety first. Congratulations to the entire Paracatu team as every employee has had a big role to play in this achievement,” said Claudine Alves, Health and Safety Manager, Paracatu.
“A big thank you to all our employees at Buckhorn for maintaining the safety culture we have all come to enjoy and depend on. Our team will continue to promote a ‘safety first’ culture,” said Mark Ioli, Vice-President and General Manager, Kettle River-Buckhorn.
