Now that you have completed the program, what is your role at Kinross?
After my final assignment in Toronto, I started working as a Project Engineer at Maricunga, where I oversee and identify interferences with maintenance and operations.
It`s a different type of work from my previous experiences in the program, but being able to share best practices from other sites have been key. I often connect and introduce people who can help with our projects, and vice versa.
Isabel Espinoza (Project Engineer) helped install the new haul road multi-plate tunnel at Fort Knox in July 2011.
