From Maricunga to Round Mountain: Meet Christyan Nieto

Kinross’ Global Mobility program offers our people a diversity of experience and the opportunity to develop their skillsets in a new environment. International assignments help us address talent needs across our Company and, at the same time, can be a great career development tool.

In the coming months, we will profile Kinross employees currently completing a global mobility assignment, and learn about their experiences.

For our first global mobility profile, we meet Christyan Nieto, a Mine Planning Engineer who originally worked at our Maricunga mine. Christyan has been on a residential assignment at our Round Mountain site since September 2011, which is expected to be completed this coming June. Learn about Christyan’s experience.
