What mine sites have you worked at Kinross?
On my first assignment in Paracatu, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks and develop many different skillsets. In the beginning, I worked with the Reliability and Engineering team, investigating equipment failures and addressing technical solutions for improving our performance. Later, I was transferred to the Operations team, where I had the opportunity to help optimize our process through engineering projects and establish parameters as a team.
Since joining Maricunga in August 2013, I’ve worked on standardizing operational procedures, parameters and maintenance plans, which all contribute to achieving a better production and increasing reliability of the plant.
