Highlights from the 2018 Annual Shareholders Meeting

On May 9, 2018, Kinross held its Annual Shareholder Meeting in Toronto.

This year, John E. Oliver, Independent Chair, Board of Directors, opened the meeting by recognizing our milestone 25 years in operation. John also introduced our 25-year anniversary video showcasing the Kinross team and their accomplishments.

J. Paul Rollinson, President & CEO, spoke next on the strong start to the year, delivering solid production and excellent cost performance. Paul also spoke about Kinross’ strategic priorities of responsible mining, operational excellence, and financial strength and discipline.

The presentation also included a video highlighting Kinross’ partnership with Trout Unlimited and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, which reiterated the Company’s approach to responsible mining.  

Kinross shareholders elected the Company’s Board of Directors for 2018. Voting results can be viewed here.
