Kinross Brazil named one of the country’s 150 best companies!

We are happy to announce that Kinross has been named one of the 150 best companies to work for in Brazil! This is Kinross Brazil’s fourth time receiving the award.

“I am proud to accept this award on behalf of the great team we have in Brazil,” said Mike Sylvestre, Regional Vice-President, Americas. “This award recognizes our team of professionals who are dedicated to building a Company that operates safely and efficiently while focusing on our culture.”

The ranking, which is published annually by ‘Você S/A’ magazine, evaluates companies based on employee perceptions surveys.

Over 800 employees from Paracatu participated in this year’s survey, which evaluates 12 categories including Internal Communication, Sustainability and Diversity, Health and Safety, and Leadership.

To celebrate this accomplishment, Paracatu developed an exhibit with information about the gold we produce and its uses. Belo Horizonte also held a small celebration at their office.

“This is an accomplishment for all employees in Brazil,” said Gilberto Azevedo, Vice-President and General Manager, Paracatu. “Our teams continue to lead by example and we hope to continue to challenge each other so we can achieve the best possible results.”
