Kinross’ COVID-19 – Update and Reminder

The COVID-19 situation continues to evolve at a rapid pace. At Kinross, our global cross-functional COVID-19 Task Force are monitoring the situation and implementing preparedness protocols and contingency plans that prioritizes the safety of our employees and the people in the communities where we operate.

As a reminder, all non-essential business travel irrespective of origin or destination has been banned until further notice. Employees with essential travel must receive approval from the Senior Leadership Team or your respective Senior Vice-President, Operations.

In order to help combat the spread of COVID-19, here are some helpful tips for protecting yourself and your loved ones:

Wash hands frequently for a minimum of 20 seconds and avoid touching your face with unwashed hands

If you are feeling sick, stay home and inform your manager of any symptoms associated with COVID-19

Practice social distancing – it is recommend that you stay 6 feet apart from others

Cover any coughs or sneezes to avoid the spread of bacteria

We would like to thank employees for their dedication during this difficult time. Please stay tuned for further updates.
