In May, Kinross welcomed members of the HR Americas team from Fort Knox, Round Mountain, Bald Mountain, Brazil and Chile, for a three-day summit in Toronto with the Corporate HR team – their first in-person meeting since the pandemic!
The session focused on Kinross’ HR Americas strategy and expectations for 2022, and the ways we can work together to create better collaboration and support across the organization.
During their time in Toronto, the team had the opportunity to network with their global colleagues while participating in a variety of discussions, knowledge sharing and team building exercises. While most of the work was done in a boardroom, the group did have the opportunity to explore Ontario including a trip to Niagara Falls and even attending a Toronto Blue Jays game!
