Launched in 2004, the Sustainability Yearbook recognizes industry-leading companies under its annual Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).
“We congratulate Kinross Gold for achieving a place in The Sustainability Yearbook 2019, a showcase of the world’s best performing companies among industry peers and in terms of financially material ESG metrics,” said Daniel Wild, Co-CEO RobecoSAM. “Launched this year under the SAM brand and now with increased public access to the percentile rankings of all companies, the Yearbook remains a highly credible source of corporate sustainability insights.”
This is the seventh time Kinross is recognized in the Sustainability Yearbook since 2011 with a score of 91/100 for 2018.
“It is an honour to be recognized in the Sustainability Yearbook for 2019! Our continued recognition in this ranking is a testament to our commitment to improving the safety, community, and environment programs of all our operations,” said Ed Opitz, Vice-President, Safety and Sustainability, Corporate Affairs. “A big thank you to our employees who put our values into action and make our success possible.”
In 2018, over 2,600 companies were assessed in across 60 different industries.
