Before starting any task, I make sure we have the right tools for the job and that everyone involved is also part of the planning and preparation. I find that receiving input from the team helps uncover things that may have been previously overlooked, decreases frustration, and helps hold everyone accountable for their actions. When you plan and prepare, any job can be completed safely.
