Irina joined Kinross in 2013 and has been recognized for her global impact on the Kinross Finance function, where her exceptional work ethic, commitment to excellence and ability to engage with peers has made her a trusted manager and team builder.
Irina demonstrates her versatility by supporting Finance functions across Kinross’ global operations through critical tasks to meet important deadlines on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
Irina’s ability to adapt and work collaboratively was demonstrated in 2022 during the acquisition of Great Bear Resources. Irina took point on the transition and worked tirelessly with the predecessor accounting team to understand, transition and improve Great Bear’s finance processes and internal controls to meet transition targets and reduce unnecessary resources.
Irinais also a mentor to younger employees in Toronto. She has supported several of her team members through their accounting designations – the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Canada – and actively works to ensure employees have access to learning new roles, responsibilities and skills to grow personally and professionally.
