Bald Mountain has donated $500 to send students from Elko High School Choraliers to the National Youth Choir at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
Christine Whetten, Human Resource Manager, Bald Mountain, presented the cheque to students earlier this month.
“It’s exciting to see young students going to perform on a huge stage like this and it will help set them up as future leaders. One of our core values is ‘outstanding corporate citizenship,’ and that is being involved in the communities where we operate and supporting them in any capacity we can,” said Christine.
