Kinross Alaska volunteers at Fairbanks Community Food Bank

In November, employees from Fort Knox and the Manh Choh teamed up to volunteer at the Fairbanks Community Food Bank to help prepare them for the holiday season, and to celebrate their 40th birthday! The team even presented a cake to thank the food bank staff and volunteers for all their hard work serving the community.

The team packed food boxes and received a tour of the building, including a sneak peek of the new expanded storage centre at the food bank. Captured above, the team and members of the food bank after they packed three pallets worth of food boxes!

As part of Kinross’ partnership with the food bank, they also kicked off the ‘Holiday Hearts of Gold’ match campaign on December 1st  to include a match of up to $15,000 by Kinross Alaska.
