For the second year in a row, Kinross was the title sponsor of the Goodman School of Mines, Goodman Gold Challenge.
The Goodman Gold Challenge is an international mining investment competition for students with the goal of supporting education and development of future mining industry professionals.
The students were tasked with interviewing three gold mining companies CEOs on their financial standing and then chose one company to recommend as an investment opportunity to a panel of experts from the mining industry.
Team members from the University of Toronto’s Lassonde Mineral Engineering team placed first amongst their peers.
