Last month, 32 Kinross employees braved the rainy weather to participate in the Toronto Heart & Stroke ‘Ride/Stride for Heart’ event. Despite the rain, employees either cycled 50-75 km or ran or walked 10km in downtown Toronto to raise money for the charity.
Toronto’s Don Valley Parkway and Gardiner Expressway were closed to motorists as participants took to the highways for the event.
The event raised over $6 million, with Kinross employees contributing over $16,000.
